The Fest for Fans and Filmmakers
May 16th-18th 2024
(Kickoff Party Coming Soon)
Presented annually, Dallas Classic Film Festival is one of the preeminent celebrations of cinema in the country. This three-day event features screenings, panel discussions, book signings and parties, all centered on a genre of classic movies.
This year we delve into that most unique of American genres, the Western. From 1940s gems such as “Red River” to 1992’s The “Unforgiven”, this year’s festival promises something for everyone. (A full schedule will be posted soon.) In keeping with 2024’s theme, all proceeds from the Dallas Classic Film Festival (501c3 pending) will benefit the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.
The Festival is produced by Torfoot Studios and all films will be shown at the Violet Crown Uptown Dallas so you can see them as they were meant to be seen – on the big screen with big sound and a big tub of buttered popcorn.
